Antique White Marble Sink Cut from a Single Block

Pure restraint. One rectangular block of white marble, a wide shallow oval hollowed out of the middle, a fine recessed border scored around it and nothing else. The sides were never dressed, so the crystalline break and the grey veining running through the base stay visible from every angle. This is the antique marble sink for a minimal bathroom where the material has to carry the whole room. Reclaimed and conserved by Ancient Surfaces.
